Lindemans Early Harvest Restaurant

 

New for 2008, the Lindemans Early Harvest Restaurant gives visitors a chance to relax amidst the excitement of the Show and enjoy dishes from renowned chefs including Ainsley Harriott and Ben O'Donoghue.

Simply purchase your Restaurant Dining Currency at the Show and then choose from a selection of dishes upon entry. Pricing of dishes are as follows:

Option 1 - $7 -   A glass of Lindemans Early Harvest wine OR Dessert OR Coffee & Muffin
Option 2 - $14 - Entree dish plus a glass of Lindemans Early Harvest wine
Option 3 - $21 - Main course plus a glass of Lindemans Early Harvest wine OR Cheese platter and glass of Lindemans Early Harvest wine for 2 people.

Note - glass of wine can be substituted for a bottle of Perrier water

Entree -    Potato, spinach and prosciutto terrine
                  served with Lindemans Early Harvest 2008 Semillon Sauvignon Blanc
Main -       Aubergine and potato dhansak with roti bread 
                 served with Lindemans Early Harvest Rose
Dessert -  Deep apple sour cream pie

Ben O'Donoghue
Entree -    Crab and mango rice paper rolls with sweet chilli 
                  served with Lindemans Early Harvest Sparkling
Main -       Beef Wellington 
                 served with Lindemans Reserve Cabernet Merlot
Dessert -  Lemon cream

Alastair McLeod
Entree
-    Antipasto - Fresh and smoked salmon brandade, parmesan crusted
                  wendland olives with goats cheese, vitello tomato, rosemary and
                  sea salt flatbread
                  served with Lindemans Early Harvest Rose
Main -       Roasted Flinders Island lamb with green bean and fennel salad, and a 
                  tomato and chilli jam 
                  served with Lindemans Reserve Cabernet Merlot
Dessert -  Spring berries and stone fruit, creme brulee foam

Entree
-    Fried tomato, haloumi and spinach salad with lemon dressing
                  served with Lindemans Early Harvest Sparkling
Main -       Grilled chicken breast with basil, parmesan, butter sauce, with bbq
                  asparagus and lemon pangratatto salad
                  served with Lindemans Early Harvest 2008 Semillon Sauvignon Blanc
Dessert -  Flourless coconut, orange and almond cake with orange syrup and
                  fresh cream

Lindemans Early Harvest is a unique range of light and refreshing wines that are on average 30% lighter in alcohol and contain 30% less calories (when compared to other wines such as Lindemans Reserve Chardonnay). The range created includes two crisp, refreshing and lighter style wines from one of Australia's most respected winemakers.
